The Kansas City Amateur Golf Tour, now known as the GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour, offers individual, stroke play golf tournaments for players of all skill levels and abilities. Players are placed in a flight based on a verifiable USGA handicap index and/or the tour index developed from previous years’ play.  Members compete for prizes and the chance at qualifying for the Kansas City Championship and the National Championship.

 

GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Golf Tour offers great competition and prizes and allows players to maintain their amateur status. The Kansas City tour offers some of the best competition and course selection in the Midwest.  Membership is open to men and women golfers of all skill levels.  It is a great opportunity to meet other people with a passion for the game of golf and have fun competing in an organized format. 

 

Top finishers in each flight, per event, receive gift certificates and trophies.  Prize awards are based on player participation, as a percentage of each entry fee goes into the prize pool and then distributed amongst the flights (20% of the field is paid).  Events also provide an optional skins game for interested players.
